Wednesday March 26th Work Party.  Patrick Callan donated the storage container which is now located next to the concession stand to the club...This is going to be a god save to our club trainers.  This should minimize their hanger rash..  Pat, Loyd, Dick, Philip and I know there were more helping, but I have just had a senior moment-------- we washed down the back wall and rewired the concession stand and run power to the new storage container.  We plan to install lights, storage bins, a work bench and hangers for the planes in the shed.  Thanks again Pat.

Wednesday March 12th Work Party.  We installed the wide gate between the  pavilion and the pit area so the flyers with the big birds can get to the pit area without getting hanger rash.  We will later install a concrete sidewalk between the pit area and the pavilion.  Thanks a lot to the guys who came out to help.  You did a great job!!!! We work a little and then we play a lot.  We worked installing the new helicopter landing pads out at the field. After a good rain the top of the pads will settle down to the ground level. We will be putting up flags around the landing pad as well as the pilot pad to keep vechicles off them. It will be up to the pilots when they are through flying to put the flags back up to warn drivers not to drive on the pads as they will distroy them. After we put the pad down we did a little flying

What a beautiful day to fly!!!!
After a long siege of cold, windy, rainy, weather, this Saturday and Sunday was gorgeous and many of the club members took advantage of it.  They flew and flew and crashed and crashed.  The bottom line, they all had fun doing it. Thank You Phillip for sending in these pictures.  Remember you can get copies of all the pictures you see on this web site from

Dec. 25, 2007: Amazing what a German can do with a spare chain saw engine! This is either one brave guy or??? but it's pretty cool, click on the following link.  http://www.dailymotion.com:80/video/x3pj1w_helicoptere-personnel_extreme
RC JETS CAN DO 3D ALSO!!!!   Model jet videos are usually a little ho hum for me because after the high speed passes and the obligatory slow roll and loop you've pretty much seen it all. But this is amazing! http://www.flixxy.com/rc-plane-mig29.htm. I went looking for the actual website. http://www.filippo-materazzi.it/ . and if you go there you get a basic home page and no where else to go if you're using Firefox. You need to use the MS Internet Explorer browser. The site is relatively slow, but there are lots more videos to explore.
