Welcome to the Austin Radio Control Association's (ARCA) website.

Our R/C Club is located near Walter E Long Municipal Park and the Exposition Center, off Decker Lane on the East side of Austin, TX. The address is 8705 Lindell Ln. Austin, TX. (See map) . ARCA has a 575 ft asphalt runway and covered meeting areas located on 20+ green acres. The club is AMA chartered and there are no size or noise restrictions on planes. Guests are welcome to fly their Turbine Jets, Electrics, Piston airplanes, Helicopters & Gliders at the field for $3/day if the pilot's AMA membership card is current. Out of town guests may fly free. Applications for membership to the club can be obtained here on the website, or at the field. Spectators are welcome and there is no admittance fee anytime; The best hours to come see the pilots fly is from about 9:00 am till dusk on Saturday and Sunday afternoon till dusk. During Events a concession stand will be open at the field with burgers, dogs, cokes and water The field has a telephone on site: 512-272-8402

The 19th Annual Central Texas Jet Rally. Come join us for this fun RC Event, 9am to 5pm on May 16,17 & 18th. Admission is free to the public.  The jets have real jet engines which run on JP4, they turn up to 150,000 RPMs and put out as much as 45+ lbs of thrust. They sound and start up just like the big ones.  Their speed is limited to 200 mph for safety reasons. There may also be some fan jets flying. For this event we will have around 30 to 50+ turbine jets airplanes flying all day Friday and Saturday. Click here for more details and to see the flyer
